Thankyou so so much to beautiful Rhiannon for taking on my little colony of lovebirds. As sad as I am to be losing them under the circumstances I truly believe my feathered friends have won. Rhiannon’s aviary setting is just gorgeous (greenery, water baths, and far more space than where they were)

Are you (or someone you know) looking for a feathered friend? Would you consider an adult bird needing a new home? These feathers deserve a great home and a second chance at loving someone exclusively or a family ….

I have a young cockatiel hen, a very young Alexandrine hen, and an older one, a beautiful male Princess Parrot, a bonded pair of Indian Ringnecks and a single hen, and a bonded pair of Alexandrines. These birds are companion pets, all tame and friendly. I am in no hurry to move them until the best situation is found.

I also have a few aviary birds, including Indian Ringnecks and Alexandrines. Some are bonded and successfully bred pairs, and some are singles.

Most of this list requires an aviary with double doors and a 'restricted bird' permit.

With a very heavy heart I make this post 😔 I'm on a mission to find a safe haven for a vibrant colony of lovebirds I've had the joy of caring for over the years. My neighbour of eight years has decided this year she no longer appreciates their melodious singing voices 🤷‍♀️😩 There are 19 birds in this thriving aviary and I'm eager to keep them together. They're living life to the fullest, and not breeding, just basking in happiness 🎶 😇💖 If you know anyone or you yourself are able to offer a helping hand, please reach out. A double door aviary is a must, and a 'restricted bird' keeping permit is required.

A sunny Saturday spent cleaning cages ready for next time ☀️💦🧽 …. Two whirlwind weeks of your beautiful feathered family. All but two have returned to their home life and a sense of normality 😅😇 Its been crazy busy and very loud at times but oh so much fun 🤪🫨🤩 …. Thank-you so much to all my customers for trusting us with your precious feathers 🙌🥰

What a wild ride this year has been and we are only three-quarters through! So many beautiful feathered family members are 'staycationing' while their humans are off gallivanting, moving house, working away or just needing a breather. Third school term holidays are just around the corner and before you know it, it'll be the summer holidays. Here are just a few (I know I've left some out) of our gorgeous winged clients 🙌🦜🤩🥰

Earlier this year, February 25th to be exact, I had a pair of pigeons nesting on top of one of my aviaries 🪹 🥚🥚 The nest got disturbed and one egg disappeared 😔 whilst the other egg rolled out. I picked it up and carried it round whilst I was doing the aviaries and next thing you know it’s pipping and hatching in my hand 😳😲 Popped it in my incubator and 24 hours later I’ve come home from work to this tiny little baby pigeon 🥰 …. Well he’s all grown up now and ever so friendly. If there’s anyone out there who has a heart for and would love a tame pigeon he is available to keep you company 🤗🩶
