Yesterday (18/05/2025) Your head rested on my knee and I patted your head and your ears as you took your final breath.
Rockydog, you are now pain free and can now breath without constant effort.
You are now reunited and running free over the Rainbow Bridge 🌈with your best friend and sister Saede, and also with your brother Justice and sisters Kianna and Kiah.

My Rockstar, Holding you as you took your last breath was extremely heart breaking for me but at least I could thank you for all the wonderful memories and moments we shared 💙 from picking the little baby ducklings up in your soft mouth and delivering them to my hand, to being the best uncle any puppy could wish for, even when you pretended to dislike all the puppies, but then you were always caught playing with them when you thought no one else was watching.
You were a true blue Aussie Mate, to not only me, but also to every person and dog over the past 10 years who had the pleasure in meeting and knowing you 💝

My Rockydog, you were the sweetest, kindest and most gentlest dog I could have wished for.

Rockydog, your pawprints will be forever embedded in my heart 🐾🐾💞

Murray River Retriever Rehome and Rescue has just Rehomed it's 200th Murray.

In the past 4 weeks I have rehomed 3 Murrays which took the total up to 200 Murrays.

Saying this, I'm not boasting or celebrating this milestone.
The purpose of this post is to keep you all informed and make you aware of the thousands of hours and $$$$'s which I have put into these Murray Rehomes and Rescues over the years.

I'd also like to take this opportunity to say a huge THANK YOU to those 200 of you who opened your hearts and homes to a Murray in need and provided the Murray with his/her Perfect New Forever Home and Family.

Also, a huge THANK YOU to those who entrusted me and go through my process to rehome their Murray and make it as stress free as possible for everyone involved.

Some people might be sitting back saying and saying 'I'd never rehome my Murray' and that's great, but, you also haven't been in the situations these people/Families have been in to have to come to that decision to have to rehome their Murray.
So please, no negative comments on my post or those comments will be deleted!!

Rescuing and Rehoming Murrays, not only takes a lot of time but also takes a lot of money. So again, I'd like to take this opportunity to ask for donations so I can continue rescuing and rehoming our beautiful breed. I do not get any grants or 'membership' money to rescue or rehome Murrays (or any other breeds at times) and purely run from my own pocket and the donations which are made by a few people.
With that said, PLEASE help me with rescuing and rehoming Murrays by making a donation to the nominated bank account. Funds are running extremely low and every $1 you donate goes 100% on my Murray Rescues and rehomes. Donate as little or as much as you like, every $1 counts.
