🌟 SEEKING EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST 🌟

We currently have an opportunity for a trainer with a small to medium sized team to share facilities with another on-site thoroughbred racehorse trainer near Strathalbyn, SA.

This would be ideal for a racehorse trainer, but trainers of other disciplines are also welcome to apply.

The property is only around an hour from Adelaide and within 10-30 minutes of multiple local racing and training centres including Murray Bridge, Oakbank and Strathalbyn Racing Clubs.

We currently have space for up to 16 horses in stables and/or yards.
A limited number of various sized paddocks may also be available.

Facilities include a sand arena, round yard, designated riding paddock, set of 2 practice barriers, and a 1600m sand training track.

The track is on a bit of a slope and is great for slow to moderate paced work.

Shared use of tie up stalls and wash bay in main stable block.

Hay, tack, feed and vehicle storage also available.

On-site jockey available for trackwork, and other staff may be able to assist with some stable duties. Six-horse truck may also be available to assist with transport to/from trackwork and races.

Some accommodation may be available for trainer or staff upon application.

Option to pay per horse, or we can negotiate a package deal depending on individual needs.

Up to 32 acres available for share farming near Strathalbyn, preferably for hay.

Sandy soil. Will likely need soil testing and appropriate fertiliser.

Option for repeat cutting in subsequent seasons and/or some livestock agistment.

Current pasture is predominantly Veldt grass.

Happy to negotiate terms.

2 x 6 acre paddocks (OR 1 x 12acre paddock) for lease on 85 acre working horse property.

All paddocks have large double shelters and automatic water troughs.

Suit horses, cattle, sheep (with fencing update), or possibly cropping/hay (if sprayed and re-sown).

*Care services for horses may also be available at an extra cost.

**Use of riding facilities, stables, yards or other paddocks negotiable.

***Vehicle/float/machinery parking, hay/tack/feed/implement storage may also be available by negotiation.

****Please note that our training track goes around the perimeter of these paddocks and our racehorses work on it daily.

A further 20 acres may be available upon application for share-farming hay (must be horse quality and mixture of approved species), or short-medium term agistment for horses or cattle. Current pasture is abundant Veldt grass, plus some wild vetch and clover may also come back up. Minimal weeds.

Hi all,
With my housemate moving out I have up to 3 rooms available to rent (short or long term), with or without agistment.

We are a working horse property with racehorses and a few private agistees.

In the house there is currently just myself and my 2 cats. I have my own ensuite but occasionally use the bath in the main bathroom.

Separate self-contained cottage has 1 male occupant.

Prefer women, however males or couples may be accepted on application.

Shared lounge, kitchen, walk-in pantry, laundry, dining, toilet and bathroom.

Rent includes utilities (water, electricity, wifi, Netflix/etc on TV in lounge).

Some shed space and undercover parking may be available.

There may be an opportunity to do some work in exchange for discounted rent and/or agistment.

2 weeks bond and must pay and stay 4 weeks in advance.

There will be a minimum 2 week trial period to ensure we are a good fit.

Prefer no pets but some may be considered on application.

Agistment will be discounted but worked out separately depending on number of horses, etc.

🌟 Large room: Space for private lounge area. Unfurnished. No built-in storage. $300/week for a single, $350/week for a couple. Entrance off kitchen.

🌟 Small room 1: Built-in wardrobe. Unfurnished. Has an external door instead of a window. Best suited for single occupant. Fits double bed, side tables, etc. $200/week. Entrance in hallway off dining room.

🌟 Small room 2: No built-in storage. Currently furnished with single bed and clothes rack, or welcome to furnish yourself. Will fit a double bed. Best suited for single occupant. $200/week. Entrance off dining room.

Would consider renting both small rooms to one person at a discounted rate.

We have a few spaces currently available at Belvidere Horse Agistment.

Shared or private paddocks of various sizes, all with shelters and some with attached yards. Most paddocks are 2-4 acres, but we do have a couple of larger ones also available.

Most paddocks have decent coverage of predominantly Veldt grass, and further pasture improvements are planned.

Fencing is all wooden posts with either straight wire & electrics, or stockguard electric tape.

Automatic waterers in most paddocks/yards connected to town water.

Stables and yards also available.

Room for float parking and hay/feed/tack storage if required.

Optional full or part care services.

Facilities include:
- Tie up stalls in main stable block
- 45x28m sand arena
- Round yard
- 1600m training track
- Designated riding paddock with 60x20m dressage arena marked out
- We have some trot poles in the arena and riding paddock.
- And we are planning to build some cross country jumps around the outside of the training track, plus set up some show jumps in the riding paddock.

On-site thoroughbred racehorse trainer who ensures all horses are checked twice daily, and is responsible for any care services provided.

Prices from $40/horse/week

Plenty of good pasture but they still get their vitamin and mineral balancer pellets to ensure their nutritional requirements are being met fully.
