From conception to sale ring, we are incredibly proud of our first sale baby wearing our brand to go through Nutrien and most importantly heading to a fabulous competition home ❤️

2022 Metallic Storm Gelding – Campdraft Prospect on behalf of client.
Oakey is a 2022 gelding by Metallic Storm out of Wanata Issabelle (Bluff Downs Bega), standing approx 15hh.

Metallic Storm progeny are firing, recently winning the Nutrien Classic. Oakey was professionally broken in by Jay Charnock, spelled, and has been back in work with us for the past three weeks.

Still green but has already been exposed to mustering and saleyards work. Showing a good attitude, plenty of try, and all the ingredients to make a future competitive show and campdraft horse.

Freshly shod and teeth have been done last week. Easy to catch, transport on both floats and truck.

Lot 248 – Friday 6th February�Argue’s Sweet Time
A quality young mare offered at the Nutrien Classic Sale, Tamworth.
Argue’s Sweet Time combines elite performance genetics with a trainable foundation. She is by Times Up, Nutrien Stallion Shootout Winner and proven sire of ability and cow horses.
Her dam Heathfield Sugar Daddy was a Futurity Winner and Novice Mare, retired only due to injury. Sugar Daddy is out of the accomplished open mare “Heathfield Gem”, by the legendary One Moore Daddy, stacking this mare with genuine performance bloodlines.
Sweet Time has been brought along slowly and correctly, having completed extensive mustering and foundation work. Since November she has been in work with Zeb Pearce, where she has continued to progress and is showing great promise on cattle with a willing attitude and plenty of feel.

A genuine opportunity to secure a well-bred mare with the genetics, education, and mindset to excel in the campdraft or performance arena.

This weekend we ventured off to Yarrowitch Campdraft, one of our favourites for the year!
Laurie was lucky enough to final both Flash & Miss Cool Ellie in the maiden coming away with the win on Miss Cool Ellie ❤️
Then was lucky enough to final in the open on Hope and novice with Flash coming away with 5th place on Flash ❤️
We had a great weekend away and can’t thank the organisers, sponsors, judges etc enough for their huge efforts in running this great event.

Laurie had a great weekend away coming home with second place in the novice on flash yesterday and winning the maiden this morning on Reys ya Hope & 4th on Cool Ellie ❤️

The DTH Tipper Hire - Dalton’s Tipper Hire has been run and won 🍾

Our winner received a bridle from Diamond H Saddlery, a Couatwong Cup & a bale of hay from Barton Ag - Hay Sales 👌🏻
