Last weekend I had the privilege of teaching three different classes at Witch School, and what an incredible experience it was!

A huge thank you to 🕸High Priestess🕸 for having me back again this year, and to all the staff and volunteers who worked so hard behind the scenes to create such a welcoming and magical event.

This year I had the pleasure of teaching:
🌱 Starting a Witch's Garden with Earth Mammas Sanctuary
🕯️ DIY Witch
🌙 Creating Your Sacred Wheel of the Year

It was wonderful to spend time with so many curious, creative, and thoughtful students, sharing ideas, stories, and practical ways to bring magic into everyday life.

If you missed out, don't worry! I'll be offering all three workshops again over the coming months, both online and in person. And of course, Emma and I will continue hosting our seasonal Witch's Garden workshops here on the Bellarine, where we combine practical gardening skills with earth-based magic and seasonal living.

Thank you again to everyone who attended, supported, volunteered, organised, and helped make the weekend so special.

I'm a little behind on social media posts, so consider this your advance warning that there may be a flood of them next week! 😅

But before that, I had to take a moment to rave about Ayrmid's book and just how incredible it is.

Before reading her work, I often felt a slight disconnect when reading spiritual books written outside of Australia. That's not to say those books don't hold value—they absolutely do—but there was always something that felt just a little out of step with my own experience of place and practice.

Reading Ayrmid's work felt different. It genuinely felt like she was speaking directly to my soul.

She has beautifully woven together the importance of cultural practice, respect for Country, and a thoughtful understanding of First Nations knowledge in a way that speaks to those of us who call Australia home while recognising that many of us are not from here. Her writing encourages a deeper relationship with the land we live on and the responsibility that comes with that connection.

If you're interested in earth-based spirituality, seasonal living, nature connection, or creating a practice that feels rooted in the Australian landscape, I cannot recommend her work highly enough.

This is one of those books that I know I'll be returning to again and again.

Thursday mornings in the garden

You’ll find me at the Geelong Botanic Gardens, teaching alongside Wyld Work Projects. I’m there guiding an introduction to horticulture, sharing the foundations of growing and connecting with the garden.

This week’s lesson was all about seeds — how to recognise them, how to plant them, and what they need to thrive. There’s something pretty special about starting right at the beginning… holding that tiny piece of potential and knowing what it can become

We also explored a fun little seed experiment — did you know that if you submerge a pinecone in warm water, it will close up? This one had been sitting on a bench for a couple of years and it still worked! (…and yes, I forgot to take an after photo 😅)

If you’d like to learn more or get involved, check out Wyld Work Projects for all the details

What a beautiful weekend
My mushroom farmer and I had such a lovely time at the Labuan Square Autumn Festival, it was so special connecting with everyone, sharing what we’ve been working on, and catching up with both familiar and new faces.

It was also our first time running demonstrations instead of our usual workshops, which felt like a bit of a shift! My mushroom farmer absolutely smashed it (as always)
As for me… let’s just say I’ve found a new edge to grow into — public speaking, I’m coming for you 😅

Grateful for the experience, the conversations, and this ever-growing community
