Please note that existing glass must be replaced when installing a pet door. We cannot cut or install into standard glass.
Toughened glass is custom-made and not readily available.
While some individuals may offer to install into normal or laminated glass.
We hear repeatedly that this guy says he can do it today etc this poses a significant risk to your pets and family.

While plastic locks and barrel bolts can secure small to medium sized petdoors,they are often insufficient for large and xl petdoors.
The inherent flexibility in larger petdoors allows them to be forced open rendering them ineffective security wise.
This is why we have always recommended installing into a sliding glass door if possible, especially if you have a security screen door which can be locked over it.

As a small business owner we wanted to provide affordable services in and around the home but still maintain a very high quality service and impeccable customer service.

With over 30 years in the glass industry from cutting glass, making double glazed glass, manufacturing windows and doors in wood, Upvc and aluminium to window and door repairs. There is nothing we haven't seen or done from working on residential and commercial jobs in the UK and AUSTRALIA some in excess of 40million pounds.
From fabrication to running factories as factory manager and foreman then starting my own business in the UK as The Window Medic repairing various window and doors on residential and commercial building. These include Bradford Royal Infirmary hospital (the building is on the scale of Fiona Stanley Hospital) so working on residential properties with glass here in Perth is no problem. We have the added advantage of working on window and door systems not seen in the mainstream here in Perth at the moment so we are able to use our modern methods on older window systems here in Perth whether that is for repairs or glazing.
After running a multimillion dollar window company here in Perth as foreman / factory manager we worked on some of the biggest projects in WA also liaising with the elite of Perths building companies. We built up excellent relationships with the glass and hardware suppliers.
Leaving eventually to set up my own business I decided to go under the umbrella of Handyman due to having experience and knowledge in other areas. Being a fully qualified upholsterer has been an added bonus. Some people believe with the name Handyman we are not qualified or not that good. Our reputation and reviews skill and our customers would argue that we are more than a handyman plus we certainly wouldn’t have been running multimillion dollar window company’s for employers if we didn't posses all the skills and knowledge.
We install lots of glass and dog doors now throughout Perth. We have risen to the top by offering expertise quality vast knowledge from our glass background and fantastic relationships with our suppliers to offer pet doors that are very affordable and we know that to be true from the prices our customers say they have been quoted via others.
We donate 10 dollars from every pet door to the Dogs Refuge Home at Shenton Park or the Cat Haven. This is our way of giving back to the community.
