Some pets do not β€˜approve’ of professional grooming.

Just like our latest friend, Harlo, many pets come into our clinics to get a groom under sedation, where our highly trained staff can monitor the sedation procedure.

For Harlo, pre-bloodwork was checked (to ensure the safety of administering a sedation), and Harlo was also treated to some Feliway which mimics natural pheromones that cats love, to keep him calm and make his stay as comfortable as possible.

Harlo is now feeling fresh!

New wheels for Curtis πŸš—

This beautiful boy, Curtis, has IMHA (Immune Mediated Haemolytic Anemia) and recently developed a sore leg. To make things a bit better for this trooper, his owner has created a pretty nifty buggy for him to get around. Curtis is one of our patients at PETstock VET Midland, and we're so glad to help take care of this wonderful dog.

Do you know what IMHA is? It's a disease where the body's immune system destroys its own red blood cells. This often leads to severe anemia and poor oxygen delivery to multiple organs, such as the kidneys, liver and brain. Treatment of this disease can be different depending on the patient, but in some cases, patients will require blood transfusions to replace red blood cells, combined with immunosuppressive therapy. You also have to limit exercise for these patients, which is why having a buggy will really help Curtis. Wishing all the best to our mate β™₯️

"The service (and staff) from PETstock VET Rouse Hill was above and beyond. My puppy went into the clinic, as he was not feeling himself, and it was found he had eaten rocks, plus other items from around the yard. He was given emergency surgery to get it all out and is now at home (finally) and resting up. The staff showed so much care and love for our boy, and I just can't thank them enough." - Jas

Another amazing result from our PETstock VET team. We're so happy Tourmo is doing well and recovering from his surgery.

πŸ‘‰ Remember, if you ever feel like your dog is feeling unwell, don't hesitate to contact your local PETstock VET.

Out of the clinic and into a sanctuary 🦘

Dr Charlene and Nurse Lurelle from our Rouse Hill clinic regularly visit and help out at a wildlife sanctuary in Yengo. At the sanctuary, you'll find the rare and very sweet little Parma Wallabies.

The group of volunteers pictured, including Dr Charlene and Nurse Lurelle, donate large amounts of wallaby pellets, sweet potatoes and carrots to help feed the wallabies. It's a truly heartwarming mission.

We love the passion of our team, and how it extends far beyond clinic hours ❀️

Lost and found 🐱

We love reuniting lost pets with their owners, and Raffa's owner was beyond words when she got the call that her beloved cat had been found. The poor guy had escaped during a particularly brutal storm.

This is the 'happily ever after' we're all about πŸ₯°
