Elemer Showman 🥰

It makes me incredibly proud to see my stallion’s progeny excelling in exactly what they were bred to do.

Today, one of his offspring took out the Ridden Clydesdale class at Sydney Royal — a truly rewarding result and a testament to the strength, temperament, and quality consistently passed down.

Even more special is the legacy behind it, with his sire having won this very class multiple times himself. To see that line continue to perform at such a high level is something I’m very proud of.

Congratulations to all involved and helped out today — a fantastic achievement.

A massive thank you to his owners for entrusting him with me to train and be part of my show team and a huge heartfelt congratulations.

Liz Lewis and Paul Defina, Elemer Clydesdales, Bargo, with their beautiful pair, one of which is a stallion Jeanal Summer Solstice, and the other Elemer Showman sired by Sunny. Elemer break and train heavy horses and also offer a range of horse drawn services in and around the NSW southern highlands.

Day 3 at Sydney Royal

I still have no words…..

The newest addition to my show team “Volo Shirley” (Aarunga Glencoe/McMurchie Geraldine) took out
🔹”Supreme Champion Clydesdale”
🔷”The Annaburne Gold Perpetual Cup” (Best Mare or Filly over 2 years born in the Commonwealth of Australia)
🔷”Champion Clydesdale Mare or Filly”
🔷1st Dry Mare 4 & Over

It’s been a full on 10 months of hard work to get her to Sydney, but to take out Supreme was beyond my wildest dreams.
Thank you to everyone who has been a part of this journey… -one that really has only just begun.

Day 1 of the show certainly started off on the right hoof….
Dotty had her first competition this morning with the Novice Show Driving Horse Class placing 1st….
We then had the Open Show driving horse class this afternoon and placed 2nd in a very competitive field with some incredible drivers and horses…..
Im so proud of this talented young mare….. 🥰
A big congratulations to all competitors, everyone looked amazing.

None of this would have been possible without the amazing friends & support crew that I’m so fortunate to have with me…
