Liana’s Cats Rescue was started by Liana Melnichuk 10 years ago to help stray street cats.
Some of these cats have been in very poor health when she rescued them. Her first option has always been to save every cat’s and kitten’s life and always given them every opportunity to a happy and healthy life.

She never euthanises a cat and always provides them with all the medical care, treatment and best food to help them recover when they are sick. She always looks after them very well so they are happy.

Liana still has some cats who are 8+ years old who are very happy and healthy. Some of these cats has been mistreated and could have been put down but Liana chose to help them and save their lives.

It is really sad when we read posts from people stating that we should put sick cats to sleep. It’s a very easy option to decide to put an animal to sleep and not give it a chance to live. We always try to give cats an opportunity to live.

Our donations do not even cover the money we spend on cats and we ask for donations to assist with some of the costs.

Our posts are not for clout. We are simply here to help sick street cats who can’t help themselves and the government does not assist them and they do not provide us with any financial assistance either.

Before you post a message, you should consider what is the alternative for street cats they are injured. You cannot euthanise all these cats,
always very important for liana to help them and make them happy.
We love cats always , forever and ever .

Hello dear kind people

My name is Liana and I have a cats rescue in called Liana’s Cats Rescue incorporated.

Last week I found this 2 month old female kitten abandoned in the street. She was crying, her eyes looked very damaged, was not walking very well and was in very poor health condition. She also was full of fleas and vomited lots of worms.

I brought her home to try to save her life. I gave her food and milk but she vomited them straight away. Worms again came out of her mouth and when she went to the toilet, there were also worms in her faeces.

The next day I took her to the vet and he did an initial consultation. He informed me that she needs lots of care, full medical examination, treatment and an operation on her eyes. He said that she was blind and her eyes would need to be removed. She would also require X-rays, scans, urine and blood tests and further tests to check what illnesses she has. She will also need special care after the operation, including vet food and treatment.

Can you please help save this little kitten’s life and help alleviate her pain and give her a better quality of life by donating to my fund.
