Some wonderful insight into Quinlan Bale from the great Dave Brasch.

Ethla Allen’s litter sister, Daithy Allen (10 wins, $61,000) was third in the G1 Nat Futurity and became the dam of Qwara Bale (57 starts, 21 wins, $367,000, G1 Sapphire Crown, G1 Maturity etc).
Quiz Bale (Dyna Lachlan-Princess Bale), the second dam of Quinlan Bale, is a genetic sister to stud legend Barcia Bale, by Dyna Lachlan’s sire Go Wild Teddy from Princess Bale.
Quinlan Bale retired to stud with the reputation of being a sound, genuine Group performer, from a litter of sound, genuine Group performers, and from one of the Wheeler family’s grandest female lines.
So, Quinlan Bale is an upper echelon race dog with the very best of bloodlines, and the chance to link with so many of the broodbi***es available for him.
There is no doubting, especially considering that his dam Ethla Allen has produced a star by Fernando Bale (Xavien Bale), that daughters of Fernando Bale will be a MUST for him at stud.
Being by the colonial sire star Feral Franky (his progeny have earned $29 million), from a bitch by US race great SH Avatar, Quinlan Bale lends himself to all manner of line breeding.
So, apart from Fernando Bale, just what lines do suit Quinlan Bale.
The fact he has Quiz Bale as his second mother, a bitch bred on such domination of Wheeler bloodlines, means anyone with a Wheeler-line bitch can look to Quinlan Bale.
These must include Orson Allen whose mother, Desalle Bale, is a virtual sister to Quiz Bale.
These must include Allen Deed and his sire Jarvis Bale. Remember, Allen Deed is the sire of superstar bitch Qwara Bale and her mother is a sister to Quinlan Bale’s mother. Putting Allen Deed (and Jarvis Bale) bi***es to Quinlan Bale will go some of the way to recreating Qwara Bale.
And, what about bi***es by Bernardo who has made such a bold show of his stud career providing many great race dogs. His daughters are about to explode onto the breeding scene.
That very classy galloper Paw Vortex is by Bernardo and his 2nd dam is Quiz Bale.
Group 1 finalists, Fabs Vegetable (Bernardo from a sister to Ethla Allen) and Fabriola Zad (by Allen Deed from a sister to Ethla Allen), prove the above mentioned crosses.
But, it does not stop there.
Daughters of Shima Shine are superb for Quinlan Bale. He brings in a reinforcement of Collision and also the Barcia Bale/Quiz Bale cross.
Daughters if Tommy Shelby are a must for him as well. The son of Fernando Bale is out of a daughter of Bit Chili the full brother to Feral Franky’s 2nd dam Tifi.
This is a hugely successful mix of intense line breeding found also in Tommy Shelby’s G1 star Eriza Sparkles.
The fact Princess Bale is the third dam of Quinlan Bale also allows for matings to bi***es that bring in Bekim Bale (by Princess Bale’s litter brother Bartrim Bale) and his brother Heston Bale.
This is the cross found in G1 staying star Valpolicella.
Then there are bi***es by Zambora Brockie and Aussie Infrared, and of course KC And All. That trio have worked so well with Barcia Bale and the Princess Bale damline. Proven to G1 class.
