An emotional farewell to one of our longest standing staff members, Jess. ❤️‍🩹

Jess has worked as a veterinary nurse at Paws Galore for 12 years - she has literally grown up in the clinic! She started as a work experience student and has stayed ever since! 🩺

After all these years, Jess is off to start a new adventure. We wish her all the best with the future of her career.🐱🐶

Jess, you have been such a valuable member of the team - your knowledge and passion as a veterinary nurse is simply admirable. Thank you for all your hard work and many laughs over the past 12 years, you will be missed! 💜🥰

🐾 Exciting News from Paws Galore Veterinary Centre! 🐾

We are beyond excited to introduce ourselves as the new owners of Paws Galore Veterinary Centre! ✨

For those who haven’t met us yet, we’re Amanda and Tayla - two passionate veterinary nurses who feel incredibly lucky to be stepping into this amazing clinic that’s been built on care, trust, and love for pets and their people.

Our priority is simple - to continue providing exceptional veterinary care where every pet feels safe, every client feels supported, and every staff member feels valued. We know how much this clinic means to the community, and we’re committed to keeping that heart and soul alive. ❤️🐶🐱🐾

We are so grateful to the incredible team already here and look forward to working together to make sure your furry family members always get the care they deserve.

This is the start of a new adventure for us, and we couldn’t be more excited to share it with all of you - our wonderful clients, patients, and the community we love.

We have news to share...after over 17 years at the helm, Philippa and I have sold Paws Galore Veterinary Centre.

We will however continue to work as full-time veterinarians at Paws Galore, as we love working for our clientele in a clinic that means so much to us. All our support staff whom we are proud to
have fostered a fantastic culture with are also being retained, so
there are no changes to the team on Beach Road.

The clinic has been sold to a small group of buyers that form a
non-corporate entity.

It has been the greatest privilege servicing so many pet owners in the community and helping your furry family members, and we are delighted to be in a position to continue doing so in this next stage of our veterinary careers. Practice ownership has borne us many fruits regarding such things as lifestyle, freedom and flexibility etc. It has also taught us many important life lessons that would have been extremely difficult to learn without the experience.

However, running a veterinary business can be very stressful, and is a huge challenge when compounding the pressures one faces working as a full-time veterinarian. Philippa and I have always been clinicians at heart, not entrepreneurs. It is time for us to step down and focus on what we were trained and love to do.

The welfare of the patient has always been our first and foremost
priority and we look forward to being able to focus on this without
the distraction of running the clinic, which will now be done by a
more capable team.

Yesterday we said our final goodbyes to our beautiful clinic cat, Paws. 🤍

Paws has been a loving member of the team for almost 20 years, ever since she found her way to the clinic as a stray kitten.

We will all miss her dearly. Run free, Pawsy.
