New to Aztec Aquarium- Riccia Moss creations including sinking mats, bridge and stick to the side mats - these are brilliantly coloured and a must for any nano or shrimp tank.

The countertop paludarium has been retired and replaced with a larger 200 ltr custom Waterbox. This was a fun project to embark on with an emphasis on creating a simple yet natural 3D scape! The question is - what do I put in it???? Any suggestions folks???

The standouts in this shipment are some STUNNING 9/10cm Red Chequerboard and Red Melon Discus as well as an assortment of juvenile 5cm sizes.

Restock on juvenile Electric Blue Rams as well as loads of Tetras!

With the coooler weather now upon us, Aztec Aquarium would like to remind everyone to check the function and the temperature setting of your aquarium heaters.
I’m getting countless calls from aquarists who’s fish have started displaying signs of the dreaded ‘White Spot Disease ( Ick ) now that the weather has turned - white spot is almost always a temperature issue.

For asymptomatic and healthy fish, make sure your temperature is hovering around the 25 degree mark ( for most community fish ). If your fish are displaying little white spots, almost like a dusting of icing sugar or are ‘flashing’ ( rubbing themselves against surfaces like leaves, driftwood and rocks ), pop in and let’s chat about different cures.
