Thinking about adding a Border Collie to your family? Here’s why price alone shouldn’t guide your decision.

A puppy is a 10-15 year commitment – choosing the right breeder matters more than saving a few dollars. At Beecee Border Collies (Dogs Australia registered), we go above and beyond to give your puppy the best start. You should always ask any breeder you make an enquiry of if their prices include:

Comprehensive health testing: Do both parents undergo hip, elbow, and shoulder x-rays, plus other tests such as full eye exams?

DNA disease protection: Does the breeder guarantee puppies can never be affected by any testable genetic disease available through DNA testing of the Border Collie breed?

Lifetime breeder support: Will your breeder offer lifetime support to you and your new addition? We’re here for advice and guidance, from puppyhood through adulthood.

Ethical breeding: How are the puppies raised, do they come crate trained, toilet trained, early exposure training, raised in clean conditions? Our focus is on producing healthy, happy, and well-adjusted pups.

Lower prices can mean cutting corners on health and care – and that can cost much more in the long run. Your puppy deserves the best start possible.

It is with much joy we are happy to say baby Socks has found her forever home with a lovely family who recently lost one of their beloved border collies. Little Socks has big shoes to fill but as you can see she is very happy and her new family are smitten. We wish you the best life together ❤️

A lovely photo update of baby Buttons who is now named Luna who found her perfect family yesterday. We have received great reports on how well she has settled in, minimal crying and how she is using her toilet tray. And isn't she so pretty.

Welcome to BEECEE

Beecee border collies is a small rural kennel based south of Adelaide in South Australia. We competed in herding and agility for several years on a state and national circuit with unwanted farm rescues which we adored. However my love and admiration for the pure bred Border Collie has been with me from a young age and I finally purchased my first ANKC registered bitch ‘Honey’.

Since then we have been competing in the confirmation ring, obedience and agility training but most importantly adore all of our dogs as part of our family.

We know the importance and value of a well-tempered, trainable, sound and versatile dog with an eagerness to please. I also value a dog that has a natural instinct to work but also does not have too much ‘drive’. Equally we aim to breed puppies that not only fit well into families but are also well conformed, and free of known genetic diseases specific to the border collie breed. This is is of up-most importance to us.

Our dogs have wonderful temperaments, adore children are used to tractors, horses and farm life in general. We believe our pups will be a fabulous addition as your next forever family member. We sometimes have puppies available with all parents DNA tested for Ceroid Lipofuscinosis (CL), Collie Eye Anomaly (CEA), Glaucoma (GLAU) and Trapped Neutrophil Syndrome (TNS) and they are hip and elbow scored.
