It isnt always sunshine and rainbows when keeping predatory animals.

Despite being fed just last night, this juvenile Northern Pilbara Rock Monitor (Varanus pilbarensis) decided to cannibalise its sibling.
Fortunately for me, i got home from work and noticed the extremely fat lizard with a small bit of tail hanging out its mouth, and i managed to massage out the over sized meal.

In this situation, without assistance, both these lizards are likely to perish.
