Hello to my Los Angeles peeps. I am asking for some help tonight. I am looking to find a permanent home for my 11 year old german shepherd, Lady Einstein. She is currently being fostered by a gracious family in Santa Clarita. Lady Einstein is extremely affectionate, loving, playful and energetic. She would do best in an environment where she will be walked regularly and given lots of attention. I need to find her a home ASAP, as the people who currently have her cannot keep her anymore. I need to get a Treeing Walker Coonhound from Knoxville, TN to Marlborough, CT to her new forever home! I had her posted on the website! I called and left a message at Rescue Me about transport - I know in the past they arranged for Cirrus Air (lightweight aircraft company based in TN) to fly a hound up north but I can't seem to get any assistance. Appreciate your input!
There is a St Bernard at FT Worth Animal Shelter, 4900 Martin Street, 76119. His Id number is A48316984. He is on euthanize list for tomorrow as today is day 28 at the shelter there. Can you please have someone get him out of that shelter if possible today?

Two bonded cats in need of loving home:
Two bonded cats, Jacob & Nuka, are being housed (in a cage) at the Pet Center on Spring St. in Long Beach, CA. They were placed there two days ago after spending one month at LBAS due to their owner's death. I would have taken them if I could but very regretfully, can't, and am hoping maybe someone else can. Nuka is 3 years old and fairly social and vocal, however, 6 year old, Jacob, is a different story. He looked sick & when I asked if he was ill, the shop owner told me he had been very depressed due to owner's death, to the point where he hadn't been walking (initially), and stopped grooming until a few days ago. He looked absolutely devastated! My heart went out to him and I had a very hard time walking out the door.
Anyway, if anyone's interested, Jacob & Nuka's photos are on LBAS ((Long Beach Animal Services) website though there aren't many details. Just hoping someone out there can devote the time and love to bring a little joy back into their lives.
