Congratulations Kay Anderson!!! Winner of the ActivPower 2021 1st Quarter Power Your Possible Contest. Our judges at Faultline Collective were unanimous in selecting your story as exemplifying what ActivPower truly means:
The winning entry:
"Kay Anderson
I first heard about Atlas and ActoBands from my friend Vic Armendariz when he was working with Gonzo, his sport dog. He had nothing but good things to say about them. Shortly thereafter, my Medical Alert Service Dog, Wikka at age 9, began to have pain and restricted motion in her hips. I ordered Atlas, and started her on it. Within a few days, it was as though I had a young dog again. She plays, is active, and a very happy dog as opposed to the sad old dog that she was becoming. She gave me my life and independence and I could do no less for her. As a result of her success, I was given the opportunity to try IrxZeus. It was amazing to see how quickly my horribly arthritic knees became functional and pain free again! I also noticed a huge improvement in the knuckles of my right hand! I have my active life back again. For me, ActivPower means being able to do the activities in my life that I love, especially working with my dogs, and keeping up with my grand children. I have to say that using IrxZeus and IrxMyorub, has given me an appreciation of activities that I took for granted! Just the simple things like climbing stairs, walking the hills, tracking with my dog, working in my garden, and most importantly, playing with my grandchildren. The most wonderful words in the world are” Grammy, come and play!” That is everything!! I have my strength, great mobility, and an active life, thanks to ActivPower!!!!"

These five Border Collies lead a very busy life with training, competing and keeping in shape for various events throughout the year. In the past six days they have participated in a full day agility seminar, had a multiple sport training day, competed in multiple classes over two days at agility trials and attended a dock diving competition where they were scored on how far they jumped or grabbed a bumper suspended over the pool. This day we decided was a rest day without competition and very light training skills were covered. A hike in the woods in between rain showers seemed like the best way to get out & stay active during our down time. If you haven't tried these amazing products for dogs and their people yet maybe today is a good time to check it out!
Feeling your best so you can give your best regardless of what sport you play or activity you chose!
ActivePower Dog, Syphon will be accepting his invite to the 2020 Super Retriever Series Super Dock Crown Championship held in Huntsville, AL in October.
In 2019 he was Reserve Champion in Super Fly Distance also posting the longest jump at the event and third on the podium in Super V Nova Extreme Vertical. We are proud of this guy and credit ActivePower products for giving him the edge he needs on training days or for competitions.
ActivePower Dogs Syphon, Glitch & Quota spent Labor Day competing in a dock diving event. Each dog jumps in a different division according to the distance measured where the base of their tail hits the water first.
Syphon in Elite Division of 24' plus
Glitch in Senior Division 16' - 19' 11
Quota (handled by a junior handler)
Junior Division 10' - 14' 11
ActivePower Dogs for the win!!!
It was Agility Day for these ActivePowerDogs!
Three dogs - seven runs - four qualifying scores - two new titles - two 1sts - one 2nd - one 5th
Also a bad fall from the dog walk had us using the ActoRub immediately on Glitch who is seven years old but still has great, young moves!

The ThrillSeeker Dogs participate in multiple sports. Herding is what the Border Collie has been bred to do for centuries. We had a full herding training day last week on one of the hottest/most humid days of the summer thus far! The dogs did fantastic and showed their true instincts are there but just need some honing of their skills before we step to the post at any herding trials. Thanks to our ActivePower products our dogs hold up in any weather, have great stamina and have mental clarity which helps with progress during training sessions.

On the road to IGP-1 and beyond prep....RETRIEVES!!! I'm trying out a new method I had thought off based off on what Wallace Payne showed me. Here the command Bring is for the dog to present the dumbbell and everything else.... running out grabbing and returning are all tasks that are subordinate to the task of presenting it to me correctly.... The fun is in the play and the pressure is in the presentation... this is our 1st session and I think he's getting it...

Here is a video of five of our Active Power fueled dogs jumping at an event. All day in 85 degrees and their stamina, condition and mental clarity was spot on. Each dog jumped to the best of their ability and had great success in their respective divisions. We give credit on their performances to the ActivePower products to help keep them in top shape for this physically taxing sport. Plus everyone who handles these dogs can benefit from the human supplements now being offered.

8 weeks ago, The little Fokker was waking up from anesthesia after having his belly opened to save him from dying of a piece of foam frisbee stuck in his jejunum. 6 weeks later he trialed in 90 degree heat and earned his BH title. Today we had our 1st protection session since his surgery.
I am not surprised by his recovery, because I already know the power of the program of Atlas regeneration and ActoRub massage he is on.... If these strategies can do this within 8 weeks of injury.... imagine what it can do to your dog that does not have any injury to recover from?
The real surprise is.... what's holding you back from turbo-charging your dog and your life?

Yesterday I posted about some young champs with dramatic performance improvements..... but have you heard of a 11 years old dog that works like he's 5 years old..... meet Shane, the only Dalmatian that I know who does IGP. Well Shane's actual name is: UCD VPU UWPO AP4 URO3 UGWPCH CH Shamrock's Shippin Up To Boston BH RN CA BCAT ACT1 NJ-N RATI RATN NTD TT CGC but I will call him Shane the Frogdog for short (cos in addition to being a champion weight-pull dog, he's also the best catchers of frogs in the lake that I have ever seen) Shane owns Kelly Rose (his handler) and Kelly Rose was one of the early adopters of ActivePower products at a time when we were not as widely known or respected for the work we do and she persevered based on her own observation and judgement at a time when people with vested interests were raising a lot of FUD (Fear-Uncertainty-Doubt) nonsense. I'm especially moved when people trust an older dog with our products.... because the natural energy and vitality of youth in a younger dog can mask the ill effects of an inferior product.... but in an old dog will very rapidly be affected... so when you see a 11 year old dog doing well and working like a 5 year old then you know that you have something really special..... Kelly Rose I am going to copy your post and cross post it elsewhere if you dont mind.... it is of course my brag but I think you and I have earned it. Thank you for trusting Shane with ActivePower. This is what Kelly has to say: Shane is 11 years old and I have been giving him Atlas for about a year now. He also enjoys rub downs with Actorub after exercise and training! What I love about Atlas is there's non of that useless junk in it. I have to be particularly careful with Dalmatians, as they can't be given high purine foods without risking urate stone formation. Thanks for the great products that keep him moving like a young dog 😁
www.ActivePowerDogs.com The Little Fokker Post-Surgical Recovery Day 24
www.ActivePowerDogs.com The Fokker Recovery Update: Day 22 Post Abdominal Surgery for Intestinal Obstruction: Physical Status: Abdominal Incision line Healed Digestion: Normal meal consistency, Normal meal volume, Normal meal type with enhanced Protein; Normal meal frequency. Poop: Firm, Dry, Low odor, Barely sticks to grass Ambulation: Normal gait; Easy unrestricted stride length; spontaneously breaks into lope; Actively investigates and plays. Fitness plan: Low Impact gravity & position based movement at very controlled slow pace with focus on lateral flexion and moderate core engagement with session length of less than 5 minutes. ActoBands introduced at 1gram per kilogram body weight per leg on level ground and very controlled walk. Recovery Massage after each session with ActoRub K9 Regenerative supplement at meal time with ATLAS 2 scoops (1 tsp)

Day 15 of the Fokker’s post surgical rehab.... under 5 minute (4:44 minutes ) ActoBand walk ... load is 33 grams in each leg Notice that this is really controlled leash walk... even though he’s on a flexilead I keep control of his pace at all times with leash and verbal guidance. Notice that as he moves around the natural small changes in terrain, each small obstacle, rock and root causes him to adjust his pace and gait to negotiate it and the bands exert a constant dynamically varying load on the small stabilization muscles of his shoulder withers hips and loins through out his gait cycle. The total load is very small (only 0.1% of his body weight at 73 lbs) and the total duration is only 4 minutes, the pace is slow. This when repeated daily builds tremendous power. Then in addition you can separately do cardio etc without the bands... but what is significant is that ActoBands allow you to accomplish in 5-15 minutes what would take you an hour.... then when you follow this with a recovery rubdown with ActoRub liniment that increases blood flow to the target muscle groups and follow that with Atlas and protein supplement the triad produces incredible boost in muscle development. People who would like to believe this as just one more tool is like saying a cruise missile is just one more rocket....
www.ActivePowerDogs.com Recovery after Abdominal Surgery for Foreign Body Obstruction Surgery is never the end but only the beginning of recovery. Treat your dog like a professional athlete. Learn how to build him up in body mind and soul after every challenge.... that’s how IGP is done and that is the ActivePower way. Day 1 of Recovery for Francisco-Fokker von Fallamhain ... aka Pancho-Cabron
www.ActivePowerDogs.com The Rule of Five! 1. Train in small 5 minute sessions 2. Train several such 5 minutes per day 3. Train every day for 5 days every week 4. Train in accordance to Learning Laws 5. Train to satisfy drives not punish them This is Session # 5 of Building the Send-Away
www.ActivePowerDogs.com There are many ways to teach the send-away and I have done quite a few of them.... each method has both advantages and disadvantages and are suited for different dogs of varying temperaments. I chose this method for my current competition dog. The send-away platform is my personal modification that I created with a compartment that can contain a ball reward. I'm posting the design up online... feel free to copy it... consider it a gift to the IGP community from ActivePower Dogs ... Sometimes he gets his reward from the platform... sometimes from my pocket. At this stage of his training the platform is a place where he gets his reward.... its a place where his reward gets launched for him to chase and bring back... its a place where heaven magically appears every time he platz's (goes Down) on it. Thank you Marc Patton, Green River Retrievers
Just a little daily 10 minute workout with my old "retired" competition dog... The Dark side of the force... Anakin vom Haus Tyson, IPO-3; FH-1
Canine Conditioning should take minutes not hours.... The foundation exercise is what I call a Rocker Down-Stand or RDS. I start the RDS first on stable & level surface then progress to stable but split level surface and then to stable and unstable surface but on the same level and so on.... Progression is dependent on the dog becoming skilled at a particular level. Keep the Reps short and the sessions frequent and always end with a massage

I started learning to train in IGP in 2005. When I first started, I would lay a track and watch as my dog picked his food in every footstep from start to finish. Later I would put food at random places in the track but I did not have a system of why I was placing food at that spot. It took me until 2011 before I began to understand how to lay a track… SIX YEARS!!!! Of failing and fumbling and faltering. SIX years of watching people lay tracks and use force and motivation and not understanding how they did whatever they did. Then it took me another 2 years to get reasonably good at laying a track. But I still did not know how and why a track is laid the way it is. It was until I began training with Wallace Payne in 2016 that I began to comprehend how to lay the track. I learned that track has to be laid by the handler who is blind (he cannot smell the track) for the student (the dog) who can see (he can smell the track). So the blind teacher is writing the lesson for the sighted student to read… and I began to learn from my coach how the track is laid so that both teacher and student can each learn from the exercise. This is the real purpose for me whenever I go tracking with my dog. As tracks go this track that we ran this morning was not perfect but it was the finest that I have had with him….. Why? Because he showed me several things. 1) He ran this track after being pulled cold from the kennel a bare 12 hours after a really nice meal yesterday… so he is beginning to show me that he understands that he needs to track…. Not just because he is motivated by hunger and he wants it…. Not because I say he must…. He is tracking because he is beginning to get a satisfaction simply by doing it….. and his tail shows that to me as he tracks 2) This was a hard track…. A large construction site field that had been allowed to grow over. Very dry scrubby vegetation with lots of bald spots; Gravel with scrubby vegetation; Dirt road with rock hard ground; the moisture level was lo
