In 2011, Anders Jorgensen and Charlotte Mortensen, a Danish husband and wife team, started off as a small operation from their villa in Al Barsha. What began as something somewhat small, grew rapidly into the success story that it is today.
After recognizing the demand in the market for good quality pet products, healthy food diets and professional services including delivery straight to our customers’ doorstep, Charlotte and Anders decided to open a brick and mortar operation in Dubai Investment Park called The Petshop, in February 2014. Then, in July 2016, The Pet Shop opened its doors in the mother city in Dalma Mall, being recognized as the largest pet store in Abu Dhabi. In April 2017 they opened their newest shop - located conveniently on Sheikh Zayed Road to help customers.
Both online and offline shops work simultaneously and now with over 100 staff, over 21,000 customers and over 14,000 products, Dubaipetfood.com and The Pet Shop branches are now the largest pet shops in the UAE.
