Uterine inertia is a condition where the uterus fails to contract effectively during labor, leading to difficulty in delivering the calf. It can be primary, due to hormonal imbalances or overstretching of the uterus, or secondary, resulting from prolonged labor and exhaustion. This lack of uterine contractions is a common cause of dystokia (difficult birth) in cattle and often requires veterinary intervention. This case attended on 29.06.2025
